Submit a Strain

Before you start you will need to know the following:
  • Animal Ethics code the strain is covered by.
  • NLRD license number covering this strain. Some strains, for example those carrying genetic modifications induced by chemical or radiation treatment, are exempt from requiring an NLRD license. If your strain is exempt please enter N/A to the text box.
  • If the strain was obtained from someone else you will need to provide the researcher's name and email address.

  Create a Strain from scratch.
  Create a Strain using details from existing strain.

If the strains are similar, then this will save time by pre-populating many of the details with the same data.

  Has the investigator submitted a Strain before?

Please note that you will have 60 mins from the start of the submission before the session will timeout.
