Strain Images
Animals from pedigree or wild-type C57BL/6 control stocks were immunized with chicken gammaglobulin (CGG) coupled to the hapten azobenzene arsonate (ARS), and heat-killed Bordetella pertussis bacteria, precipitated together in alum. IgG1 antibody to CGG and IgG2c antibody to B pertussis were measured in serum of individual mice (dots) by ELISA 14 days after primary immunization, showing absence of primary Th2-polarized antibody formation to CGG and Th1-polarized antibody response to B pertussis.
