Strain name: B6;129P2-Cd22tm1Eac Tg(IghelMD4)4Ccg/AnuApb
Nickname: CD22-/-:Hamlet
Strain designation name: B6;129P2-Cd22tm1Eac Tg(IghelMD4)4Ccg/AnuApb
Strain Types Mutant strain
Genetic Details Targeted knockout
Mode of Inheritance Recessive
1.  Affected Gene Name: CD22 antigen
Chromosome 7
Affected Gene Symbol Cd22
Protein expression of altered gene: Nil
Genetic alteration of gene: Portions of exons 3 and 4 were replaced with a neomycin selection cassette, which introduced stop codons into all three reading frames. The deleted region encoded the translational start site, leader sequence, and the ligand-binding immunoglobulin domain 1. The splice sites on the 5' and 3' terminals of exons 3 and 4, respectively, were left intact.
Location on chromosome (bp): 31650848-31665361 bp, - strand (From Ensembl annotation of NCBI Build 37)
